Dr Saraya was born and raised in Brisbane, before moving to New South Wales to complete her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney. She completed an internship between Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, before returning to Brisbane for the birth of her first child in 2018. She has since worked at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a focus on Emergency Medicine, before choosing to specialise in General Practice. Dr Saraya is interested in all aspects of family medicine, and particularly in women and children. When not at work, Dr Saraya enjoys running around with her 3 children and husband, doing yoga, and participating very slowly in triathlons.
