It was a real pleasure to work at Corrie street Medical clinic for the last term of my GP training.Everyone is extremely helpful, from receptionists, nurses, practice manager & all the doctors. Supervisors's knowledge and skills are amazing and always on site, plenty of chances of formal and informal educations. I felt valued in the clinic, enjoying autonomy and being able to manage my bookings and timings . There is a good exposure to all patient groups.The scope of practice is varied and wide, although it took me sometime to develop my patient base I was given the opportunity to work at aged care which was a good learning experience. I would recommend the practice to any future registrars!”

My clinical immersion at Corrie Medical Centre was such a valuable and positive learning experience. The clinic serves a very diverse community, I got to see a wide range of cases, from paediatric check-ups to the management of chronic conditions. This gave me a lot of hands-on exposure as a student. What really stood out to me was the positive work dynamic and cohesive teamwork. This strong sense of support also extended to the clinic’s patients. The Corrie Medical Centre care team has built long-lasting relationships with their patients and as a result, the patients have trust and confidence in their care.

I did my general practice under Dr. Jag and it was my first clinical rotation and it remains one of my favourite rotation thus far. Dr Jag allowed me autonomy from day one in examining patients. This gave me the not only my confidence to develop my approach to management of patients in a relatively less stressful environment but allowed me to consolidate and enhance my clinical skills. Furthermore, Dr. Jag always was open to questions and supportive in pursuing my learning goals. Furthermore, the nursing staff and administrative staff were all welcoming and an absolute delight to work with. I truly felt a part of their team and I remember my rotation with great fondness. If I was pursuing the pathway of GP, I would definitely choose to do it under Dr. Jag and with his staff.

I had the privilege of completing my placement at Corrie Street Medical Clinic, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. The team provided an excellent learning environment, with supportive and knowledgeable staff who were always willing to teach and share their expertise. I want to express my utmost gratitude to Dr Jag who devoted his time and patience in guiding me throughout the placement. He was an excellent mentor. The practice's commitment to patient care and professionalism truly stood out. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such a compassionate and dedicated team.
